The Philippine Embassy registers marriages of Filipino citizens that were solemnized in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania. Below are the requirements.

Accomplished application form in three (3) copies. Note: The wife must indicate her maiden name

Passport-sized photographs attached to the application forms

Original marriage certificate with English translation and authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the certificate was issued (plus 2 photocopies)

Extract of the Population Register in English of the foreign spouse issued by the Tax Agency and authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the document was issued (plus 2 photocopies)

Three (3) photocopies of the passports of the husband and wife

Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage for the Filipino Spouse/s - Accomplished application form. Note: The Filipino applicant/s must indicate her maiden name (if the applicant is female) and his/her civil status at the time of application (i.e. single, annulled or divorced)

Photocopy of the passport of the applicant

Original birth certificate issued by National Statistics Office (NSO) in the Philippines and authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)

Original certificate of no marriage (CENOMAR) issued by NSO in the Philippines and authenticated by the DFA

For an applicant between 18 to 21 years of age, notarized parental consent signed by both his/her parents

For applicants between 21 to 25 years of age, notarized parental advice signed by both his/her parents

Payment of SEK628 (inclusive of bank charge) - TOTAL FEE for registration of marriage and legal capacity to contract marriage
The Embassy will forward the Report of Marriage to the National Statistics Office (NSO) in the Philippines. Applicants may retrieve their NSO-certified Marriage Contract in the Philippines a minimum three (3) months after reporting the marriage at the Embassy.
