NAIA Lowers Terminal Fee to P550 For International Flights

NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) announced last January 2012 that the terminal fee for international flights will be lowered to P550.00 . The rollback of terminal fee from P750 to P550 for leaving passengers for abroad took effect on Wednesday, 01 February 2012.
The rollback action was the outcome of the end of the 5-year security development plan program for NAIA which started in 2007. The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), headed by General Manager Jose Angel Honrado and leads in supervising the NAIA, decided to imposed additional charge of P200 to improve security measures at the NAIA.
MIAA’s security improvement scheme facilitated the acquisition of equipment such as surveillance cameras and new x-ray machines for NAIA.
