Travel Advice
-
Holiday Insurance. Do take out full-cover insurance for both medical treatment and unexpected losses such as cancelled flights, lost credit cards, cash or luggage.
-
Drugs. Don't get involved with illegal drugs. Possession of even small quantities can lead to lengthy imprisonment.
-
Overstaying. Don't stay beyond the limit of your allowed period of stay as you can be fined. Apply for a visa extension if you want to stay longer.
-
Funds. Do bring enough funds for your stay and return flight. Bank transfers take longer than you might expect, as do refunds for lost tickets, etc.
-
Personal Security. As with visiting any country in world, do take care of your belongings and always use your best judgement when traveling to unfamilar places. Keep your passport and money in a safe place.
-
As a general precaution, do leave details of your travel plans, your passport and your credit cards with friends or relatives back home. Keep in touch with your family and let them know of any changes to your travel plans. But more importantly, ENJOY YOUR TRIP!
